Make Your Own Coasters
Ceramic Coasters
A one-time session: Sunday, Nov. 2nd, 2-5pm
$100 per person
Make your own ceramic coasters in this 3-hour workshop!
We’ll provide all the materials you need, and no prior experience with ceramics is required. You’ll learn how to work with leather-hard slabs of clay to make functional coasters. You’ll paint with underglaze and use other decorative techniques to create unique finished pieces. After the workshop, we’ll glaze and fire your work to be picked up at a later date. This is a great opportunity to make personalized coasters for your home, or for holiday gifting!
Instructor bio: Dustin Low is a Seattle-based artist and designer creating ceramic objects inspired by his connection to both natural and built environments. His pieces often feature carved textures and illustrated elements using airbrushing, screen printing, and hand drawing. In addition to his studio practice, Dustin leads classes and workshops at various Washington state studios, with his work being shown in exhibitions across the country.
